Karmic Lesson numbers are the Pythagorean values from 1 to 9 that are completely absent from the letters in a name. Where most numerology numbers describe a strength drawn from the letters present, Karmic Lessons work in reverse: they highlight qualities the name doesn't naturally reinforce, areas of life a person may need to develop more consciously since their name doesn't hand them that trait automatically.
